Our Story
With the growing demand for structural engineering in Southern New Jersey, Marcello Engineering Group was founded in 2008 to meet these needs by providing consulting services to local design professionals, contractors and building owners. As the time passed the client base has grown to include insurance companies, financial institutions and local municipalities.
Meet the Team
Matthew Marcello, PE, CME
Founder & CEO
Matthew exhibitions outstanding technical expertise, which is backed by over two decades of engineering, inspection, and construction management experience. Matthew earned dual Bachelors of Science degrees in Civil and Architectural Engineering from Drexel University. After which, he went on to work for prominent structural consulting firms located in Philadelphia, PA and Los Angeles, CA. Shortly after returning to the east coast, he founded Marcello Engineering Group in 2008. Matthew’s resume includes a vast involvement in the commercial, healthcare, education, and residential sectors. Matthew maintains licensure as a Professional Engineer in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and California. He also maintains certifications as a NJ Certified Municipal Engineer and NJ Special Inspector.
